Shared from the Grand Chute PD:

It is with heavy hearts that we share that retired K-9 Fram passed away last Wednesday. Fram had been diagnosed with a tumor on his bladder in the fall of 2017, but he defied the odds and predictions by his vet and continued to work with Sgt. Enneper for over three more years until his retirement in January of this year.

Sgt. Enneper and Fram were trailblazers at the GCPD, as they comprised our first K-9 team. They also set a high standard for K-9 performance, accounting for countless arrests and drug seizures, and winning awards during K-9 competitions. During his many years with our department, Fram endeared himself to everyone who met him, from school children to his human colleagues.

As we remember Fram and his many contributions to the department and our community, please, also, keep Shawn and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Not only did Shawn lose a partner, but the Ennepers lost a beloved family member.
