As a team of volunteers, we know the power of community members coming together behind a worthy cause. That’s why we’re calling on you to join us in supporting operational K9s and their human handlers throughout the state.
We’re adamant about not making a profit off of the information we believe law enforcement and first responders should have when they hit the streets with their K9 partners. We seek to make this essential, life-saving information as accessible as possible. And we need your help.
Ongoing Needs
In addition to financial contributions, we’re always in need of medical supplies for our team members and to stock the individual first aid kits we distribute to K9 handlers. Some of our current needs include:
- Intraosseous (IO) catheters
- Endotracheal (EO) tubes
- IV fluids
- Clevor® to induce vomiting in dogs
- Outdated medication, including Narcan
- Bandage materials, including Battle Wrap and Swat-T
- Saline solution
- Laceration packs
We gratefully accept expired medical supplies from human facilities. We turn nothing down and donate what we can’t use to local animal shelters. Please feel free to contact us if you’re unsure about any potential in-kind donation.
Special Equipment
We’re also seeking the following specialty items:
- Large medic bags to equip our veterinary response team with supplies.
- Cold therapy laser system, which is useful for acute injuries (especially ligament and tendon injuries).
- Portable ECG with pulse oximetry to provide an instant reading of pulse rate and oxygen saturation levels.
Donations may be delivered to or dropped off at our main office located at 2809 North Park Drive Lane, Appleton, WI 54911.
Every gift helps move our mission forward. When you donate supplies, you’re making a tangible difference in the lives of operational K9s in our home state and the first responders who work with them.
