Volunteer - Operational K9 Medical Team of Wisconsin

We’re an all-volunteer team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of operational K9s and the first responders who care for them. Our mission is to educate and support those who assist these amazing animals when they’re injured, and we need your help to make it happen!

Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers in the veterinary medical field, as well as first responders, who are eager to teach classes or assist with fundraising events. Veterinary students with a strong interest in operational K9s are also encouraged to reach out.

Teach classes. Use your knowledge and skills to help us educate law enforcement, EMS personnel, firefighters, and other first responders about point of injury care.

Support fundraising events. We’re active in our community and can always use hands-on support at local awareness and fundraising events. Help us spread the word and raise the funds we need to continue our work.

Provide admin support. Outside of community-facing events and classes, we’re also looking for behind-the-scenes help. Support our admin tasks, like scheduling trainings and updating the Operational K9 Registry, or help us walk dogs currently in our care.

By volunteering with us, you’ll be making a direct impact on these incredible animals and the communities they serve. Plus, you’ll get to be part of a passionate and supportive team that’s committed to this cause!
